Grant Oliphant

Grant Oliphant is director of planning, communications, and evaluation for The Heinz Endowments, a dedicated supporter of innovative literacy and early childhood programs in the Pittsburgh area. A former journalist, Grant Oliphant served as a speechwriter to Teresa Heinz and as director of communications for the Heinz Family Foundation. Previously, he had served as a press secretary to U.S. Senator John Heinz. He was also founding editor of American Politics magazine and a daily radio talk show host. Born in Australia, Grant Oliphant is the son of editorial cartoonist Pat Oliphant.
